The Habitat Dartford Ottoman Bed gives you a proper sleep space and serious hidden storage in one smart parcel. It's a small double that fits nicely into compact bedrooms or guest rooms without feeling cramped. The soft linen-style upholstery in cream adds a modern touch that works with most bedroom styles. Lift the end of the bed to access hidden storage underneath, ideal for spare duvets, seasonal bedding, or winter jumpers you don't need right now. Sprung wooden slats support your mattress and provide natural bounce-back, while promoting healthy airflow to keep everything fresh.
The storage area holds 530L, providing room for bulky items that clutter your wardrobe. The upholstered headboard is included and attaches securely to the frame. Sprung slats distribute weight evenly and help your mattress breathe, preventing moisture build-up and keeping conditions comfortable. The end-lift mechanism makes accessing stored items easy without stripping the bed. Plastic feet keep the frame stable and lift it slightly off the floor. Self-assembly is required; two people are recommended. Mattress sold separately, so you can choose your preferred comfort level.

Nice bed
I like the colour of the bed and it was relatively easy to build. However I don’t think that it is a true ottoman bed as there is only a piece of Velcro edged cloth to add the bottom, not a proper base. Therefore if you want to move it at all you have to remove everything from inside and then move it.

Great steady bed, well constructed
I bought this bed a few weeks ago now and it has been great. Was built without any issues, with secure and strong fixings. Bed is very stable and secure. No creaking. Storage area beneath is also great with loads of room to store stuff. Fabric of a good quality. Happy with the purchase.

A thicker mattress would be suitable although it may not open fully or as much as it would with a thinner mattress due to the thickness.
