About this product
The Habitat Tatsuma Superking Bed Frame provides a lovely spot to unwind with plenty of space to stretch out. The wooden frame is solid and stable for long-term use, while the curved headboard and tapered ash finish legs add a clean, mid-century look that doesn't overpower a room. It's ideal for smaller bedrooms or guest rooms where you want a spacious sleeping surface without bulk. Wooden slats underneath support your mattress and allow air to circulate, keeping everything fresh night after night. It fits a UK standard superking mattress comfortably.
The tapered legs lift the frame off the floor, giving you 26.9cm of space underneath for storage or easy hoovering. There's 35cm from the floor to the top of the side rail, that's a practical height for getting in and out of bed. The wooden slat base spreads weight evenly and gives your mattress the support it needs while promoting airflow for a healthier sleep. Maximum user weight is 220kg, so there's solid capacity for two people. Self-assembly's needed, and it's easier with two people. The manufacturer's one-year guarantee is included for peace of mind.

Stylish and sturdy but...
I'm giving this five starts because it is a very stylish bed and feels solid but the photo here doesn't fully show that you have to have a VERY thin mattress to see the headboard as shown, probably no more than about 15cm in depth. It's a big shame there isn't more of that beautiful wood on show!

This is a really great bad; the tone of the wood is lovely, it’s a nice quality, it was very easy to assemble, it feels sturdy without looking at all chunky. I’ve spent a long time looking for a bed like this – I wanted the floating effect of the end legs being recessed which this has and which is not easy to find. It was also a very good price compared to other others on the market like it.

Really well made and good quality, solid wooden bed. Looks lovely too, such a sleek and modern design. Quick and easy to put together with two people. Only minor thing is I wish the middle leg and centre big beam where the slats fit were ash wood as well. Would be pretty indestructible then! But overall we’re super happy with this bed for the price.

Having checked I can see the top rail of the head board is Plywood with ash veneer. Base slats are plywood. Support rails are pine. Other frame rails are solid ash.
