Useless for Catch Up
Wouldn't really recommend if you intend using this for catch up of missed episodes! Which was my main purpose. Lucky if you EVER find the episode you're looking for. I searched for Sewing Bee recently missed episodes. Up comes a looooong list of all the old series, some by episode, some by group of years (including 2026). Click on that and you get maybe two 2026 episodes then 2018. Eventually found them but it was a fight for each episode till I'd caught up! Today, I wanted to have a 'quick' look back at a Coronation Street episode that aired a few days ago. Nope. Could not find it. I resorted to my trusty laptop. I would suggest this gadget may suit someone if they want to pay for Netflix or browse and watch whatever takes their fancy. Useless for a dedicated search! And, don't get me started on the tiny text. Trying to set it up and work through the various menus gave me eye strain for a couple of days! I try to be quick if I do use it and not linger on the menus. Not yet returned but still within 30 days so probably will.

I had decided to purchase this because I moved my tv away from the aerial port and felt I wasn’t getting the best reception from the aerial. I already have a Roku express in my bedroom so was easy enough to connect the stick and pair the remote to operate my tv. I find it great to stream all my shows and watch live tv channels also like the soaps. I have connected to Alexa it also so can launch streaming channels.im very pleased with this purchase. The price was the same as another online retailer and I wanted it same day so made sense to get it from my local Argos .

Best Free Tv You Can Buy.
I bought this device to replace my former SD version of the Roku device. The picture quality is excellent with a sharp resolution. Connects really well to my projector but does stick out quite far. So, I added a 90deg adapter so Mr Clumsy (me) doesn’t keep knocking it. The remote control is slightly different from previous models. So, if you have 2 Roku devices, you cannot use the same remove. However, the annoying pre selected buttons are still included on the remote and cannot be changed for your preferences. But at least with this remote, I can use three of the four. A great device and highly recommend it. Only four stars due to the continuation of pre selected app buttons.

Updated my TV for camping
I bought this to upgrade my Avtex digital tv whilst away with the caravan. I am now able to tether my mobile phone to my tv and us all streaming services. I now have no need to use an aerial for the tv, so now we have access to Spotify, BBC sounds, iPlayer, Netflix etc….. A great upgrade and easy to use and set up

Easy to set up and use. Streaming is solid and the interface is quick and easy to navigate. Very pleased so far (2 weeks in)
