Great little TV stick.
My daughter had a Roku stick to take to University with her and was more than happy for the entire three years. We have just bought our youngest the new Roku plus and she is impressed A great purchase.

Streams and installs apps well but remote control connectivity is poor. Can take a few minutes for remote to connect at start up.

Buying a Roku kit is a no-brainer !
After paying for a second Sky box in our main bedroom for years (currently £15/month) I decided to give Roku a try. I wish I'd bought one before ! Simple to install and connect to our WiFi. Excellent sound and vision quality, good choice of channels - incorporating our subscriptions for other streaming services eg Paramount + was a piece of cake. All this for the price of two months rental for a second Sky box and no ongoing charges. Bargain !

Been a few weeks and happy with it so far. A small gripe I have is it when I turn on TV, it doesn't automatically open Roku interface. I have to use TV remote to select hdmi input each time. Not sure if it's the TV problem or the stick, but didn't have this issue with firestick before. Not a deal breaker though and I like it better than the firestick.

It is easy to set up and is fast and responsive. Much cheaper than equivalent fire stick in bought a month ago and seem o do the same things.powered by usb, so don't need another plug socket, (if your tv has a usb slot)
