My Hisense 55 Inch 55E78QTUK - Great TV!!
Superb service from Argos same day collection - easy installation and set up, picture is very good as the picture upscales the signal to 3840 by 2160 which is very sharp, colours are great, sound is good and as expected at this price point. Great purchase, would definitely recommend and buy again.

I bought this TV on 16th June 2026 and I’m very unhappy firstly there is no teletext on this tv which isn’t stated on any paperwork also on the instruction book I received with the television states that the TV is not recommended for people with a pacemaker as it might affect the TV and the pacemaker,

It doesn't have a built-in recorder with internal storage, but it does support recording live TV channels through its PVR (Personal Video Recorder) function. To use this feature, you will need to connect a compatible USB memory stick or external hard drive to the TV. Please note that recording is only available for live broadcast channels received through the TV tuner and cannot be used to record content from streaming apps such as Netflix, YouTube, or Disney+.

Based on the product code 55E78QTUK this TV features a native 60Hz panel.
It does not have a native 120Hz display, nor does it use DLG (Dual Line Gate) technology to achieve 120Hz. The maximum refresh rate for this specific model at 4K resolution is 60Hz
