About this product
The Silentnight Middleton Divan Base keeps your bedroom organised with hidden storage where you need it most. Two drawers slide out smoothly underneath, handy for bedding, spare pillows, or off-season clothes without cluttering your floor space. It's designed to pair with any Silentnight mattress and headboard sold separately, so you can build a bed that suits your room and your style. The base comes in a range of modern colours including pink, blending with different bedroom looks. Handmade in the UK by Silentnight's team, known for over 75 years of building beds that stand up to daily use.
Chrome glide feet lift the base slightly and let you move it around for cleaning without scraping floors. Headboard fixings come included, so you can attach one securely when you're ready to complete the look. Each drawer is 12.5cm high, 34cm wide and 44cm deep, enough room for bulkier items you want out of sight. The base supports up to 202kg comfortably, stable for two people. Arrives in two parcels with simple assembly, two people recommended to make handling easier. Comes with a 5 year guarantee for lasting peace of mind.
To complete your set you can choose from our wide range of Silentnight mattresses and headboards, which are available to add separately to create a bed that suits you. Shown with our Silentnight Merlin headboard.

I brought this small double divan base 2 weeks ago. Easy to assemble very stable and not squeaky when you turn over like the wooden slatted one we replaced. Hopefully will be a lot better and last longer. Only thing is a wanted the two drawers on the same side but there not.

Mis-sold
Argos pitch this double that has drawers on the same side. This is NOT the case. The bed comes in 2 parts - one half of the base has no drawers and the other half has drawers on either side meaning you cannot have it with both drawers on the same side. When querying with Argos they said that’s how it comes and no parts are available to replace. Bed returned.

Bought this it should be clear that both parts have headboard holes I added the headboard only to find it was the wrong end of the bed meaning now drawers are useless as where the side tables go
