Value for money
It’s ok, slower to boil that other one cup I had. It’s also quick heavy on top so water level isn’t easily visible however for £30 it’s great

I got this for my parents as the one that they had was getting old my dad likes it the only thing that was annoying was that you don’t get a full cup of hot water

Not as good as kettle
After using it a few times. Found it a pain if you were making more than one cup. The turn off button didn’t work. Thought no point taking back as would only do a replacement and didn’t want one. Now in the back of cupboard

"I have looked into this query for you and I can confirm that this unit does not have a limescale filter and the manual specifies that this item needs to be de-scaled after 10 hours of use and there will be a flashing green light to indicate the unit needs de-scaling".

The Swan SWD1004 Instant Hot Water Dispenser - Black, holds 1.5 litres of water and can boil 6 cups of water, therefore with the 1 boil this would be approximately 250ml.
