Bought this as wanted a replacement for my hob kettle but didn't want to buy another kettle. Also wanted my son to be able to use this, he struggles with his motorskills and picking up a heavy kettle would worry me. Best thing I bought! Looks nice, easy to use and quick. Glad I bought it.

An easy, functional stylish, quick boiler.
I bought this to replace an older model from another brand. This is easy to use and great that it has a larger capacity water tank and stop button. It's much easier to descale than my old one and I prefer the white rather than blue light that illuminated the mug or container below to a blue one. However, being tall, I find it difficult to see the water gauge behind the cup/mug and as I have it under a cupboard, it's difficult to fill compared to the old one. The tank on this is static with a lid, the tank was movable and could be held under the tap to fill on the old one. Having said that, this one is much quieter and overall an improvement. It looks smart too.

Great water heater
The first heater had a temperamental cord so a replacement was purchased without any quibble. The design is sleek and so easy to use. My only gripe is that you can't stop the flow mid stream despite the instructions saying otherwise.

This kettle has no adjustment for a less or more amount of water dispenced. Also the drip tray will not stay in place.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Swan SWD1004 Instant Hot Water Dispenser - Black: Its 27cm as it’s the width of the dispenser, once the flap is opened it reduces to 25cm inside.
