My new TV
I bought it a few days ago it would have been nice to have a detailed picture of the remote control and what the buttons do, this is the third Sony TV I have purchased, I have been extremely satisfied with my TV’s, that is why I purchased this one. I would appreciate if you could send me a plan of the remote control and what the buttons do.

Very disappointed
My digital Freesat box broke so I thought instead of buying a new one I would buy a new Sony TV with it built in but now I regret it because after downloading the satellite channels I now find there is no tv guide other than the program that's on and the following program there is no other information or means to set a reminder, I have been very disappointed with Sony because I always thought they were the best especially as we already had an good old Sony tv but to me it's seems they have gone backwards and the standard definition satallite channels don't upscale and look worse than my previous 20 year old 720p Panasonic that it replaces !

Poor Focus.
I am very disappointed with our new Sony. We had two models previously, they were great. We only get a decent, clear, focused picture on the first five HD Channels with this model.

Disappointed customer.
My K-43S3 is a massive disappointment. I bought it to replace my Sony KDL-40W605B (probably about 15 years old) which no longer gave me access to BBC iPlayer etc. (Sony blamed the BBC for this, but it was actually Sony to blame). Some 99% of TV stations are SD and my old Sony TV had a slightly better clarity of picture than the new TV. HD is marginally better than my old TV. Only plus points is that I now have access to BBC iPlayer, Channel 4 etc. As for Google TV I haven't quite worked out yet what exactly it is. A manual would have been helpful (I'm fully aware that there is a digital manual via the TV but that involves having to go back and forward from one to the other). Finally, I'm sure I speak for a sizable minority when I say that it is almost impossible to contact Sony. An email address or a telephone number (outside of technical faults) would have been nice.

Terrible version of its predecessor ☹️
This TV replaced its predecessor dur to an accident leaving the previous 12month old one not repairable. Whilst there is a possible slight improvement on the picture, it he functionality has dramatically gone down hill. To watch live Tv or iplayer, bbc sounds etc, you now have to access these via Sonys ‘Live TV & catch up app which is diabolical & practically next to useless. The app doesn’t always load & can sometimes take half an hour of trying to get in to it! Why would I want to access these through another app when previously they were on the main screen with all the other services?!?! Because if this the process the ‘TV’ button in the remote doesn’t work - so why is it there? At the same time whilt watching live Tv you can no longer press the down arrow to get the guide at the bottom of the TV something else that has gone backward. Honestly compared to its 12 month old predecessor it’s terrible. Would never have bought it if I’d known. Sony when you update your models make sure you are making them better & easier to use, not slower & frustrating to use. I do not recommend this TV - especially if you are a previous Sony Tv owner. (I’ve owned Sonys for 20 years) This is the last one which will get binned as soon as I can afford to replace it. ☹️

Good picture. And viewing options
Enjoying a better picture and selection of viewing options. Takes a little time getting to understand all the functions.
