Heats up well esp on highest setting - approx 20-30 mins bed very cosy. Comfy to sleep on , no discomfort from wires or control attachment. Only had for 2 weeks so not washed yet. Slightly shorter than previous (very old) blanket.

I am using this king size underblanket on a super king bed and the straps stretch enough to do so. It takes a little longer to warm up unlike the last one I had but its very warm and toasty once heated. The fleece lining is a luxurious touch

More than I intended to spend but, WOW. What a premium product. Aside from its plush thickness and comfort, it has built in safety features such as a 4 hour safety cut off and the preheat function. Takes the chill off cool sheets and the teddy fleece instantly makes the bed warmer and more comfy. I didn't think that alone would make a difference but it does. Takes a good 20 minutes to feel the difference before you get in, or 30 mins for a toasty feel on max. Simple to operate. Stays put on the bed. The wire is attached by a chunky fitment which could stick in your arm or shoulder depending on how you sleep, I didn't notice it with this one, even though I've had other blankets and it really did get in my nerves. Surprising impressed. Bought two now :)

A recent purchase that replaced an old blanket. I use a 3’6” wide bed and this new blanket is just the right size. A single control switch has several heat options, the lowest being just right for being on all night. The fitted straps hold it in place. Overall I am very happy with it.

I am answering my own question! Argos has confirmed that it is 72 cm. Thats great as it will properly fit a 2ft 6in twin bed.
It seems that there is a different model where the packaging is the same or very similar but is 65 cm so would be narrower than the bed. Some have a sticker on the front with the size, but not all. They are all described as single. Suggest wherever you are buying, double check that its the size you need.
