The Habitat Chadwell Small Double Storage Bed Frame sorts out your bedroom clutter while giving you a comfortable place to sleep. It's a small double size that works well in compact bedrooms where space matters. The soft padded headboard gives you somewhere to lean back when you're reading or relaxing before lights out. Linen-style upholstery in grey feels gentle and calm, that's fabric not anything shiny or cold. There's a drawer built into the base that holds 144L of bedding, clothes or bits you want tucked away but still easy to reach.
The frame's upholstered all over in linen-look fabric that softens the room's feel. Sprung wooden slats support your mattress evenly and let air circulate underneath. Metal feet lift the frame just 2cm off the floor, enough to keep things stable and stop dust gathering directly under the bed. The drawer slides out smoothly and gives you proper hidden storage without needing extra furniture. Maximum user weight is 110kg per person, so it's built to support you properly night after night. Arrives flat-packed with clear instructions, two people makes assembly much easier.

Lazy delivery
Got this bed base because the pictorial display shows it had four drawers underneath. Only has two The delivery was on time but the delivery personnel would only carry the boxes into the dining room on the ground floor. Would not carry it upstairs to the bedroom Not very helpful when yo74 years old. That’s me. All in all. Bit disappointing Shame really as it appears to be an excellent bed frame Was easy enough to assemble and looks like it will last and do the job well.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago for my son's room and I'm really glad I did. It looks lovely and is really good quality for the price. It took a few hours to put together but half of that time was spent on the drawer which was a bit fiddly but will holds lots of stuff. I did most of it myself but needed another person for a few bits. The slats, which I was dreading, were actually really straightforward. It is really comfortable with the new mattress I purchased. I woild definitely recommend.

No, it is not possible to put both drawers on one side of the bed frame. It is structurally manufactured to have one drawer on the left side and one drawer on the right side.

You can place the drawer on either the left or right side of the bed, but it can only go at the foot end (bottom section) of the frame. It cannot be positioned near the headboard.
