About this product
Make sure your tyres are always at the right pressure. This metal tyre inflator has an easy to read analogue pressure gauge with PSI or Bar pressure readings. It's ideal for inflating tyres on your cars, bicycles, scooters and mopeds. The long 12V power cable plugs into the car's cigarette lighter socket, which makes reaching your tyres from your in-car charger so much easier. The set also includes a 3-piece adaptor kit.

Great portable tyre compressor pump ...
I purchased this a few months ago to replace my foot pump to top up my vehicle tyres, one of which had a very slow puncture. Very compact and easy to handle with a nice fitted carry case to protect when stored in the boot. Works well with the gauge accurate to show the air pressure as you are inflating the tyre and a long cigarette lighter power cable to allow it to get to all four wheels. The only negative point is that the connector is a metal screw type rather than the usual hinged snap on type you get on most air pumps, which is a bit fiddly to screw on straight onto the tyre valve. Some of the metal components get very hot to touch when in use for a long period, especially when you are at the point of putting it away inside the carry pouch. I purchased this from Argos because in the past I have always had good products and service. This pump was bought to inflate my caravan tyres to 58psi. My old tyre pump, at around £12.00 at the time was begining to struggle, but did get there eventually. This 'heavy duty' pump couldn't pump the tyres at all, making a 'phutt' sound and stopped. I can't blame Argos because they didn't make this. It's probably made by an overseas manufacturer and produced in the 1000's, so a failure rate, still sees a lot of defective items. If you buy one of these, get it from someone that will take it back, just in case you get a faulty one. My old pump is still 'puffing'. Thank you to Argos for making the return trouble free.

1. Adapter for inflating footballs etc.
2. Adapter for inflating rubber Dinghies, Airbeds etc.
