About this product
Control the light and mood in your room with this wooden venetian blind that gives you simple tilt control at the turn of a wand. Made from basswood, this blind resists warping in kitchens, bathrooms or sunny spots where heat and moisture build up. The 25mm slats tilt smoothly to let in as much or as little daylight as you want, whether you're dimming the room for a film or letting morning sun filter through gently. The automatic safety lock keeps things secure, and the slats are removable when you need to give them a thorough clean.
It comes with all fixtures and fittings plus clear instructions. You can fit it inside or outside your window recess or mount it directly to the wall, whichever suits your space. It meets 2014 blind safety standards and includes a child safety cleat. Wipe it clean with blind cleaner when needed, and it's backed by a one-year manufacturer's guarantee. Please note To ensure child safety and comply with health and safety requirements, always fit P clips or cleats when installing these blinds to keep cords and chains secure and out of reach.

Great blind
Great blinds, we bought two for our kitchen. Quick order and delivery. Easy to put up. We took some of the slats out for length, easy to do.

Purchased as a replacement for my daughters bedroom as she had broken the ones already in there(who knows how) we have had these all round our house for a year or so and they are decent and clean well, very pleased with them.

Very reasonable for the price
Can’t complain for the price. Well packed and a very reasonable finish. Easy to put up except for getting the drop control string to match; to be fair think that’s me. The wood is a little thin so I am not sure how durable in the long term it will be, but if you don’t need to continually rise and drop the blind it should be ok. Will remember to check Argos in future.

Nice blind!
Ordering the white basswood 25mm blind was easy as usual. Did via the app - not available to collect, home delivery from company only. Delivery said within 5 days from company but it arrived in 2 so was very impressed. It’s a lovely blind, the white is quite a nice bright white, fits the window well although I had to remove some slats (13 of them) which I knew I’d have when buying it due to drop size. But it was ok and very easy to do albeit a little fiddly. As some reviews have mentioned it could do with an extra bracket in the middle as I’d think if I’d used all the slats it would bow slightly in the middle as it is fairly heavy….. needed 2 people to put up. It comes with an extra slat to cover the top brackets - is he’d on with Velcro and it’s not very sticky as such and kept falling off so have left it down. It still looks ok without it so for me it’s not a problem. Overall it’s a very nice blind for the price, slightly flimsy but it’s fine for where I have it in the kitchen - so far it’s good, not been up long so time will tell how it wears etc.
