About this product
This Elmdon small double divan and mattress set gives you firm support and practical storage without taking over a smaller bedroom. It's built for steady sleep and everyday use, with a firm mattress that supports your body through the night and four built-in drawers for bedding, clothes or seasonal items. The open coil mattress has a quilted damask cover that's soft to the touch. It's a no-turn mattress, so you just rotate it regularly to keep it performing well. Soft layers inside help cushion your body, while the springs provide solid support.
The divan base sits on chrome feet and holds the mattress firmly in place. Four storage drawers are split across both sides of the bed, so you can access them easily no matter how the room is arranged. Each drawer provides space for folded clothes or bulky bedding in bedrooms where wardrobe space is limited. The base supports up to 203 kilogrammes and stands up to regular use. Assembly is straightforward and best done with two people. Part of the Elmdon collection, it pairs with matching headboards sold separately. Manufacturer's one year guarantee.

The depth should be 22cm. Mattresses aren’t perfectly flat—pillowing, quilting, and shaped edges can make the stitched sides uneven. By placing a straight pole across the top and another across the bottom, you create two completely flat reference planes. This ensures you measure the actual maximum thickness, not the lower, inconsistent edge height.
How to Measure the Depth of a Mattress.
Place one straight pole (or a long straight object) across the top surface of the mattress so that it lies flat and level.
Place a second pole underneath the mattress, directly below the top one, ensuring it is also flat and level.
Measure the vertical distance between the two poles using a tape measure.
This measurement represents the true depth of the mattress, taken from the highest point of the top surface to the lowest point of the bottom surface, not from the stitched or quilted edges.

If the label states ‘non‑turn’, the mattress is not designed to be flipped over. However, you can still rotate it so the head end becomes the foot end, which helps maintain even wear.
