Reasonable Price, good fit with elasticated skirt and no rustling sound when on bed making it feel comfortable to sleep on. The waterproof backing seems adequate though that hasn’t been tested yet. Certainly recommended though.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Silentnight Terry Towelling Mattress Protector - Cot bed: Waterproof fabrics are non-breathable by design, we recommend 12 months plus as babies can easily lift their heads and support them at this age. Any potential risk of the waterproof fabric restricting the breathing of an infant is therefore minimised.

The supplier has advised the following for the Silentnight Terry Towelling Mattress Protector - King size:
“ All Silentnight products are safe to use with a Silentnight electric blanket however other brands would need to be checked with the manufacturer directly. In regards to waterproof or plastic backed protectors, again the Silentnight is safe to use however, if there is a likelihood of an accident we do recommend the electric blanket is switch off and unplugged while in bed. ”
