Supersoft waterproof protection for comfortable stay dry nights. Crafted with an absorbent 100% cotton terry towelling fabric with a polypropylene backing for waterproof protection. Designed to protect your mattress against spillages, accidents and stains. Complete with a fitted skirt for extra protection and a secure fit, this protector wraps around the sides of your mattress to cover your mattress entirely. Unlike other waterproof mattress protectors, this protector is quiet and does not rustle with movement.

Great waterproof mattress protector
Bought this to protect our spare bed mattress while my husband goes through chemotherapy. It does have a slight rustle to it, but because it's soft on top you really don't notice it when you use it. After a couple of nights I don't even notice it anymore. Very happy.

Having been diagnosed with a kidney disease and suffering mild incontinence I was advised to protect my mattress. This seems to do the job. It fits well and isn’t noisy. It also does create a warm bed like some other protectors. Pleased so far.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Silentnight Terry Towelling Mattress Protector - Cot bed: Waterproof fabrics are non-breathable by design, we recommend 12 months plus as babies can easily lift their heads and support them at this age. Any potential risk of the waterproof fabric restricting the breathing of an infant is therefore minimised.

This would depend on personal use, however, it is made to fit around the mattress tightly, so there would be little movement from the protector.

The supplier has advised the following for the Silentnight Terry Towelling Mattress Protector - King size:
“ All Silentnight products are safe to use with a Silentnight electric blanket however other brands would need to be checked with the manufacturer directly. In regards to waterproof or plastic backed protectors, again the Silentnight is safe to use however, if there is a likelihood of an accident we do recommend the electric blanket is switch off and unplugged while in bed. ”
