The 4OD app was shut down in 2015 and will not be available to download on this TV. Channel 4 replaced this app with All 4 Which should be available to download.

Yes, the Samsung 50 Inch QE50Q7FAAUXXU Smart 4K UHD HDR QLED TV has an optical output. It does not have an optical output. So now Ive got the TV and cant use my soundbar on it. You need to get your facts right for people
