Connection fairly easy. Lovely tv in all aspects.
I brought this a few weeks ago. I'm not particularly tech savvy so was worried about the set up connecting to my sky box and everything else. It took me a while to do it but I am now delighted. The sound is excellent better than my old set. Colour, brightness and contrast are great. I'm not playing around with any settings yet until I am completely used to it. But it's quite perfect as it is. Excellent value.

Very good TV, so far (2 weeks). I've had 2 Samsungs in the past, last one 10yrs ago (colour went on a CRT TV & lines appeared & spread on a small LED TV). Use it in as a monitor in the kitchen. It 'mirrors' the main one in living room. Picture is really good for HD pictures. It is also great for UHD/4K (that's been downscaled to HD/1080p). Colour is not washed out on UHD/4K like it was on my previous TV. I assume it's because this TV has HDR. Anyway, so far so good. N.B. SOUND: I use a small soundbar rather than the TV's speakers - have never used them. 'Generally' I find TV speakers weak, no definition & no base but, as I say, I've never used these speakers.

Traditional teletext services were turned off in the UK a few year ago now - December 2010 was the date that the services were last operating.

You can use terrestrial freeview channels in the conventional way.
You will need a traditional Ariel connected. There is a port for this on the rear. if an ariel is connected first the setuo process will install the channels.
If necessary you may need to select live viewing from the home screen.
