About this product
The Argos Home Kensington 9 Drawer Chest keeps your bedroom organised with plenty of room for clothes, linens and everyday essentials. There's space for larger items like folded jumpers and bedding, plus smaller drawers for socks, accessories and bits you want close to hand. The oak effect top gives you a spot for a bedside lamp or photo frames, adding a homely touch to your space. The sage finish brings a calm, traditional feel that works well with country-style or classic bedroom furniture.
Nine drawers with metal runners glide smoothly, making it easy to open and close without sticking or jamming. Contrasting metal handles give each drawer a defined grip and add a neat finishing detail. The decorative wrap-around plinth lifts the look and gives it a well-made, traditional feel. It's made in the UK with a wood effect finish that's practical for daily wear. Wall-mounting required for safety. Self-assembly needed, two people recommended for easier handling.

Spacious and good quality
A nice item of furniture. Sturdy, well made and ample storage. Very nice colour. On the website, the drawers are shown as being sage in colour, the same as the front panels. This is not correct with our chest of drawers and they are all white.

Green unit for bedroom
Bought this 9 draw unit for baby room,it took husband 3 hours to build,lovely green colour ,very heavy and sturdy, would recommend and thinking of buying another.

Beautiful chest of drawers
Bought this a couple of weeks ago. Very sturdy, solid chest of drawers, with ample room. However, although it comes with an instruction booklet, that tells you how to put the flat pack together; (example) put number 16 top to number 15 bottom and slot in 14 . There are NO stickers with numbers on the pieces of wood!!!! Therefore as it states, have a measuring tape as that's the only way you know different. Also count the holes and study the drawing. It took a while, but I did it, eventually😅

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Argos Home Kensington 9 Drawer Chest - Ivory: We don’t spray lacquer the panels, we laminate the chipboard with a paper which has a protective surface applied, a type of lacquer, when the paper is printed. Therefore there isn’t the smell associated with furniture that has been spray lacquered. As with all furniture made from chipboard or MDF, there is a very slight odour when the product is first made but this will soon dissipate. It may have dissipated before you receive the product if it has been in stock for a few weeks.
