About this product
The Kensington 5 Drawer Chest gives you tidy storage for clothes and linen without taking up much floor space. Its sage finish and oak-effect top bring a traditional look to your bedroom, while five drawers provide plenty of room for folded items. The metal handles add a contrasting touch and make opening drawers straightforward. It's made in the UK with a decorative plinth that wraps around the base. Part of the Kensington collection, so you can match it with other pieces.
The drawers run on metal runners for smooth opening and closing. There are two smaller drawers up top and three larger ones below, so you can organise different items separately. The chest needs fixing to the wall for safety, with all the necessary guidance included. Arrives flat-packed for self-assembly with clear instructions, one person can put it together. Comes with a 2 year manufacturer's guarantee for reassurance.

Flustrating
I bought this a few weeks ago , unfortunately when I began to construct it I found the instructions pictures were quite small and hard to use and I was missing the screws for the draw runners which I then had to purchase from B&Q.

Bough that around 3 weeks ago, it was a bit time consuming to assemble but the instruction were pretty accurate. One of the handles from one of the drawers was broken but Argos customer services immediately sent a replacement.

The whole collection looks really impressive
I’ve bought several wardrobes and drawers from this range and love them! I bought the oak/ivory colour and they look expensive. Putting together isn’t so bad. The drawers had some damage but Argos quickly resolved this for me. If you are careful with them they should last some time. They look expensive. The wardrobes in the set need a really flat surface or else the doors just won’t align. The drawers are fine. I would recommend, specially buying when they are discounted!

"The Ivory for this range is like a creamy white. The nearest RAL reference is 9010. It is not a perfect match but is very close."

The top panel can hold a maximum of 12KG. This must be evenly distributed.
The overall load the unit can hold (including top and drawers) is 20KG. Again, this must be evenly distributed.
