Lovely colour and lots of space
Bought this a few months ago when we moved house. The colour is lovely. I managed to put it together alone, it was tricky but I managed. Nice and spacious inside and looks perfect in our bedroom

BEWARE items missing
I purchased a wardrobe and chest of drawers. Both had pieces missing & DAMAGED (essentially wrong piece) and damaged on other. They give you two contact points... however one would only deal with C ofD. So needed to contact both. Poor. Chest was a UK based contact. Those parts arrived a few days later. The wardrobe was via a external American language site, seemed OK took all details, so some 5 weeks later no parts. No proof of contact so not hopeful, just be careful deciding what you purchase from Argos folks.

Two stars, but could have been fewer!
If someone at Habitat really wants to know what I think of the product and my experience, they should contact me by phone and I will give them an honest appraisal. However, if I am expected to write this in long form ( and trust me, it will be LONG), I really don't have the will to do this. I have given this two stars as a general overview. Visually, I like the product. Build quality and quality control of the components (panels), not so good. I am quite adept at putting together flat packed furniture, and I always put them together unaided, which is not difficult. But not with this product. To cut a long story short, this wardrobe has NO structural integrity until the back panels are fixed, and optimum stability is only achieved when the wardrobe is loaded! That needs improving. Finally, the customer service part of this review would score BELOW ZERO!! Language/ dialect issues apart, I do not feel that what I was offered (three alternatives - a relatively small refund, deconstruct and collection and replacement of the same item, deconstruct and collection of item and full refund) was favourable to me - all I wanted was replacement of the two drawer front panels, which were scratched. I was told this was not possible. All in all, it looks nice but the overall design has flaws which are only overcome once the wardrobe is loaded. I appreciate that many purchasers will not encounter this, but the contingency for these issues need huge improvements.

Excellent quality
Pleasantly surprised when it arrived - lots of solid wood sections so it is heavy and solid for the most part. It’s definitely a 2 person job to put up. It took 2 of us around 4 hours and you need plenty of space to build it lying down. There were a few holes which weren’t pre drilled which was a bit annoying given its a coloured finish - the holes for the hanging rails and also the ones for the hinges. I can see why some say it’s “flimsy” it did rock a bit - the wall anchors supplied were - in my opinion - pointless - just a couple of fabric straps - doubt it would stop a fully loaded wardrobe falling. We secured it with 2 metal angle brackets fixed to the wall at the top - you can’t see them and now it’s really really solid

Great wardrobe for bedroom
Used for woman's wardrobe even though it says kids, has plenty of storage space and short enough to store stuff on top as well. The hinges have a tendency to come loose on the doors sometimes but overall pleased with the size and amount of clothes I can fit into it.

Generally, this is good quality and a great first wardrobe for a child (or if an adult just wanted a smaller wardrobe). The draws are set back a bit, and don't sit flush with the rest of the wardrobe when they're fully pushed back. This is a bit of a bug bear.

The internal width on the 2 door segment is 748mm, while the 1 door internal width segment is 375mm.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the Habitat Brooklyn 3 Door Wardrobe - Grey.
The grey colour appears to be quite close to what’s shown in the image. Its NCS colour code is NCS S 4500-N.
The Brooklyn wardrobe is now sized appropriately for adults. It was updated earlier this year to be taller. Prior to that, it was sold as part of the kids’ furniture range, which is why many of the previous Q&As refer to it as a children’s wardrobe.

I considered it when it arrived - the 2 person job bit is getting it stood up and moved into position. There is a lot of solid wood components and it is heavy. Also hanging the doors is tricky on your own

This would be hard to answer. It does recommend 2 people to assemble the Habitat Brooklyn 3 Door Wardrobe - Green. This would be down to the individual as to weather you could assemble it alone.

You can do a lot of it alone but it does need two people to get it stood up. Even if you tried to assemble it in an upright position youd need help. Plus hanging the doors is tricky alone

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Brooklyn 3 Door Wardrobe: The bottom hanger can just be left out, to have long dresses etc. there.

There is a LOT of screws, bolts etc. Some of the holes arent pre drilled and youd need a drill with a very small bit to do some pre drills the holes for the hanging rails and also the hinges - you could do it without but the wardrobe finish is fairly shiny and screws liable to slip and damage it
It took around 4-5 hours to build - 2 of us pretty experienced with flat pack but we were building it in a tight space. A beginner would be ok
