Smart, sturdy & well worth the effort
The item comes as a single flat pack and is quite a weight. It will take two to carry it to the assembly location. This is actually a good sign as the wooden parts are solid and when assembled form a robust unit. The packaging provides good protection for the contents and there are protective papers between the gloss surfaces. Assembling the unit is quite a faff. There are hundreds of components and, as hand tools are recommended, wearing gloves is a must to avoid blisters. The instructions are fairly good although the diagram of the drawer sliders was slightly inaccurate and the installation of two pieces of wooden trim was overlooked in the guidance. You will need plenty of space in which to assemble the unit and allow at least 3 hours for the task. It is possible to misalign some elements so follow the instructions carefully. The finished item is very sturdy and looks really smart. If you need to provide hanging space for clothing in a height constrained room (such as a loft conversion) this is a smart and much cheaper alternative to custom built wardrobes. I bought the sage green version to match the carpet and other furnishings in my bedroom. The colour is actually a bit darker than sage green but it is a very compatible shade.

Perfect for a child's bedroom or for guests
Very easy to put together, even on my own (no power tools needed, but you will need a small hammer, flat head screwdriver and a Philips screwdriver). Perfect for a child's bedroom or for guests. Assembly instructions are clear enough: recommended that you read through them a couple of times and you check the contents before starting.

Ok but damaged
Bought this for nursery and was disappointed when a couple of parts arrived damaged and screws missing. Emailed customer services with no response. Took quite a while to build and drawers aren’t level. Otherwise happy with end result.

this product is self assembly the instructions are not great . If you are not a DIY person do not buy this product or get a competent DIYer to put it together it took a very long time to assemble . At the price I would have thought it might have come assembled or with better instructions. Having sad that it does the job and looks ok

Very Solid Wardrobe
I got this wardrobe as my daughter has quite a small bedroom so we got her a loft bed and this fit underneath. It is a really solid build and can fit in full size hangars, which is one of the main reasons for getting it. The only downside is that the package is 48.5kg so get the delivery driver to take it to the room you want it in (which I didn't realise and they didn't offer).

This wardrobe was exactly what we wanted for our loft converted bedroom, it fitted the space perfectly. The quality is excellent with a very good weight to it. It went together well and looked just like the picture - what more can you ask for!

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Brooklyn 1 Door 5 Drawer Short Wardrobe - White: The maximum load on the top plate is 30kg and the maximum weight in the drawers is 7 kg.
