Not recommend
Delivered with care, but a total nightmare to assemble.No numbers on the pieces, flimsy materials. Dissatisfied.

Good - but could be better
Negatives: Putting this together was made unnecessarily difficult by the lack of the small stickers that other stores use to identify their pieces (particularly important when putting the drawers together) and the fact that almost all of the fixings (screws, nails, dowels, etc) are chucked into one large bag and it is left to you to sort these out before you can start (as some are very similar). It also came with the normal "not quite perfect" finishing on a couple of the legs and some missing paint on a corner of the top. Took a lot longer than the stated 2 hours to assemble. Positives: The pre-drilled holes all lined up perfectly! It is very solid, real wood - even the drawers. It looks exactly as it does in the photos. We wanted this to go into a small bedroom where there is not enough room for a separate wardrobe and drawer unit and it works well for that. My only design gripe is that the hanging rail is too low to allow an adult shirt to be hung from it without touching the base - so we will need to adjust that to fully utilize it.

Very Solid Wardrobe
I got this wardrobe as my daughter has quite a small bedroom so we got her a loft bed and this fit underneath. It is a really solid build and can fit in full size hangars, which is one of the main reasons for getting it. The only downside is that the package is 48.5kg so get the delivery driver to take it to the room you want it in (which I didn't realise and they didn't offer).

Bedroom transformation
After having an astronomical quote for built in wardrobes in our loft bedroom I spent almost a year on and off trying to source the exact size and design. So glad I found this from Habitat. Although it comes flat packed (wouldn't have got ready made up there anyway!) it was very easy to assemble as the instructions are very straightforward, all the pre-drilled holes matched up precisely. Well manufactured and solid once put together. I absolutely love this colour- it's given my room a real boost be aware though that this is designed for children's clothes so you won't have full hanging space for longer items of clothing, this isn't a problem.

Just the right size for guest room under a window
Nice colour, seems strong enough for a guest room. Fits well under a small window with hanging space and quite sturdy wooden drawers. Loads of pieces to put together as totally flat packed but 2 of us managed it in a morning with easy enough step by step instructions and use of a screwdriver and small hammer. Very pleased with the look.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Brooklyn 1 Door 5 Drawer Short Wardrobe - White: The maximum load on the top plate is 30kg and the maximum weight in the drawers is 7 kg.
