Good quality at a fair price.
Very pleased with this, good quality at a fair price. Using it to store shoes and to sit on when putting shoes on. It took me a couple of hours to assemble it but I did manage in my own. Nice and sturdy and a nice colour, I bought the blue one but it is more like a very dark blue/gray.

Faulty
Bench lid didn't open fully/stay up once put together. Emailed the parts department, as per the instructions, who said that they didn't have any spare hinges and that they wouldn't be getting any in future. They advised to phone customer services - who said to go in store to see if they had spare parts. I thought this odd, but did so anyway. No spare parts, so was told that I had to take the whole bench apart, box it up and take it back to the store for a refund! 100% won't be ordering from Argos again.

Sturdy design
Very good quality, easy instructions. The look and design are Very nice, and is sturdy enough to be used to sit on to put your shoes on.

Decent Bit of Furniture
Two people are required to assemble and the instructions could be improved - we ended up re-doing the brackets for the lid - but it’s a sturdy enough item, looks good and the wooden top is really nice.

Habitat Bournemouth storage bench light grey
I brought this item had to get somebody to put it together he than r realised it was damaged rung Argos numerous occasions eventually they give A agreed to give me some money off if I kept it but I feel that as it was damaged it should’ve been half price. I will not be buying items from Argos that need to be put together in future.

We are not able to recommend soft closers due to the item not coming with any.
If you do add them you would be altering the item which will void the warranty if they are screwed in.

The storage unit measures:
Height 47.7 cm
Width 119 cm
Depth 38.5cm.
The unit doesn't have any shoe shelves so would need to be put in loose. As shoe sizes differ it would not be possible to state how many the unit could hold.
