Does what's required
Bought this as a gift for my grandson going into 2nd year at college and he needed new one for his work etc. He's very happy with this laptop and definitely lot quicker and more definition than his old one. No complaints

I bought this as a basic laptop, so far it has lived upto my expectations. Easy to set up, connections has a wireless mouse. Great easy connection to TV and external Dvd drive. Very happy with 1 years Microsoft free

Very good features but has power supply problems
I was impressed with this laptop - fast speed, excellent sound and picture quality - then after ten days it started running off the battery despite being plugged in. Despite trying a few things the problem continued with the result that it had to be returned. I've had an Acer laptop in the past and the same thing happened after only a few months. As it looks like this could be a problem with Acer, I wouldn't recommend their laptops to any one.

Dont waste your Money
I bought this laptop 2 weeks ago. Once the initial set up was complete, there were 3 Gb of the advertised memory left, meaning that the laptop is very slow and not able to carry out simple online functions. Even when doing nothing the CPU is working at over 90%. totally disappointed with the product

The Acer Aspire Go 15.6in N100 4GB 128GB Laptop Bundle is only for browsing the internet and send emails.. This system has a low processing power and RAM (Random Access Memory).
For a laptop that grows with your 10 year old boy will need something with at least 8GB RAM or Even better 16GB RAM.
They will be a little more expensive, but it will last him until he finishes high school.

I have McAfee and had no problem installing on new devices, my subscription includes installing on more than one as in laptops, mobile phone etc log in to your account and check you should already have this and it should tell you.
