A poor man's Tissot.
A beautiful , moon phase watch by Sekonda. Classic look, upper part of the strap is made out of leather. I enjoy wearing it and get nice comments such as in the title : is it a Tissot? Nice watch you have got there, swiss? Etc, etc.... Sekonda makes very nice reliable watches. This is not my first one nor the last one from them. Thank you Argos for making it available at a bargain price.

Got good closeup eyesight then watch is great!
This is my most difficult to read watch I've got. It can take me between 1 and 5 seconds to read the time. It's a pretty much a random thing depending on the light. Ok it's my eyes as well (I'm old enough to remember "West Ham" winning the '66 World Cup). Seriously the moon phase function is very accurate once set up. It's got a 29.5 sequence it goes through. Be aware it doesn't show sun day and moon night but goes from new moon to last segment. A handy tip is to set the moon phase is to fast forward the moon symbol by pulling the crown out to 1st notch and winding clockwise to change it's setting if wrong. To change the date it's 1st notch anti clockwise. To change the Day of week if wrong the it's 2nd notch and wind clockwise 24 hours at a time. And the strap only has 2 holes left on my 19.5cm (7.5") wrist.
