I purchased on price and was delighted once home in its corner.

No, it doesn’t matter whether the bulb is candle or globe-shaped — both will fit as long as they are E14 Small Edison Screw (SES) and within the 6W LED limit. The shape is mostly about appearance and how it looks with the shade.
As for light colour, many E14 LED bulbs do give off warm white light, even if it’s not clearly labelled. Look for a colour temperature around 2700K–3000K for a warm white glow.
