Decent for the money but squeaky
I got this for a spare room. It was really easy to put together, 2 of us put it together but could easily build it alone if needed. It has a bit of a squeak to it and doesn’t feel particularly strong but for a bed that will be used infrequently it is worth the price.

Good Bed for the price
Bought this bed for my Daughter as her old bed was broken. This was delivered within a week and was so easy to put up, took about 30 mins with 2 people. It's a solid bed and has enough room underneath for storage.

These are designed as a single frame so would not be suitable to do this with due to maximum user weights etc. There would also be no way of keeping them together so they done part in the middle.

Double mattress. But make sure it a think one because the metal slates can be felt through a thinner mattress. Other than that you can put a sheet of wood on top of slates
