About this product
The Silentnight Middleton Double Divan Bed provides a complete sleep setup that supports restful nights and helps organise your bedroom. The memory foam and pocket spring mattress moulds to your body, reducing pressure points and keeping your spine aligned. The Mirapocket system uses 800 responsive springs that adjust to your weight and movement, so you won't disturb a partner when shifting. A matching charcoal fabric base includes four storage drawers, two on each side, for bedding, clothes or extras. The fabric headboard completes the look.
The memory foam layer cocoons you as you settle in, while the medium firm feel suits those who prefer supportive comfort over a soft sink. The mattress has a quilted knit cover that provides a smooth sleep surface. It's a no-turn design, so you rotate it head to toe regularly to even out wear. Four drawers slide out easily on both sides of the base, each providing useful storage without taking up wardrobe space. Plastic castors let you move the bed when needed. Minimal assembly required, two people recommended. Comes with a five year manufacturer's guarantee.

Bad design
After receiving this bed and mattress I got to work fitting the headboard, though it says pierce here, the bottom fixings would not screw into the divan, I had to self drill the holes for the fixings and in the process the screws/bolts what ever you want to call them would not go all the way in to secure the headboard to the divan and I tried so hard that the plastic screws were damaged beyond repair. So tbh I'm definitely not happy with the product and I didn't send it back due to the fact I'd be told it was my fault. Waste of money š° š

Solid, well made furniture
This is a very good bed, made by a reputable company (Silentnight) and sol at a reasonable price from Argos. It is comfortable. The mattress is quite firm, although I quickly got used to it.

The headboard can be adjusted to the height of the mattress, as it needs to sit on top of the mattress.
