About this product
Our Brooklyn bunk bed is made from solid pine, with chunky top rails and a sturdy frame. There's a fixed ladder for easy access which can be placed at either end of the bed so you can make sure it suits the layout of your room. And this bed has another trick up its sleeve - you can use it as separate beds too. So if you're switching things up in their room, or if they move into their own rooms, you'll have 2 single beds ready to go.

Good bed but creaky
A good bed however it creaks very loudly when you move on it. I can hear my kids turn over in their sleep.

Great bunk bed
Had this for about a month now, great bunk bed, great quality. Instructions could be clearer when building but other than that no issues

Sturdy, easy to assemble
Great looking bunks, easy to follow instructions and sturdy frame for my teens. Only one star off as they creak a bit and the wooden slats are thin so I do fear I’ll break them when I’m up changing the sheets

Amazing bunk
I bought it for my son and he loves it. Really good price and quality.

very pleased
We are very pleased with the bunk beds although they have not yet been rigorously tested by the grandsons. Nevertheless, they are very sturdy, so we do not anticipate any problems. I have some DIY experience so assembling them was straightforward working at a relaxed pace although it still took me 6 hours on my own (apart from lifting the top bunk in place which does require assistance). Fortunately, I obtained the Assembly Instructions from Argos and studied them carefully before the beds arrived. Everything is clear but missteps are easily made if you don’t concentrate and make sure you are using the right part in the right place. The beds come in two boxes one of 20kg and one of 40kg! so depending on how big your bedroom is where the bunk beds will be built you may want to open the boxes in another room so you can carefully identify and organise the parts for assembly in the actual bedroom. Overall we are very happy with the product.

It’s really well made
It took me a while to put together but it’s very well made and solid in its construction. I read other reviews about thin paint but this really isn’t the case. It looks great and seems to be perfect for my daughters room. Definitely recommended.

Hello Say,
The supplier has advised the following for the Habitat Brooklyn Detachable Bunk Bed Frame - White:

Thanks for using Q & A.
Hello There
After contacting our suppliers they have advised for Habitat Brooklyn Detachable Bunk Bed Frame - White:
The treads are 20mm deep on the detachable bunk bed.
They have a R18 on the edge, so it is soft for the kids to step on to and will follow the curve under the foot.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hello Biddy,
The supplier has advised the following for the Brooklyn Bunk Bed Frame - White:
“ According to the safety standard EN 747 must their min. be 16cm from the top of the mattress to the upper edge of the safety guards. But this is only for bed base which is 60cm above the floor.
So, this is not relevant for the bottom bunk in the Brooklyn bunk bed without safety guards. There can therefore be used whatever thickness mattress the end consumer wants in the bottom bunk. ”
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Geoff,
Yes, the wall brackets are included.

Hello there,
I have spoken to our supplier who have advised as follows.
I would say it´s semi-gloss somewhere in between high gloss and a matt finish.
This full white lacquer used for Brooklyn is around gloss 30.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hello Lisa,
I have spoken to the supplier who has advised that the timber used for the Brooklyn bunk bed is from PEFC certified forests. The timber is from Finland.
