Not great to be honest
This trimmer is quite light weight and does a fairly good job. The issue I am having with it is, that after couple of uses, it has started to chew the branches rather than cut them cleanly which A: doesn't look good and B: doesn't help the plant either as healing and recovery takes a lot longer. I didn't pay a lot compared to other trimmers but i had hoped for it to do a better job for more than twice. The battery however is pretty decent.

Yes you can buy a battery from coreservice.co.uk you need the model no MOE-12ET-410. It is currently
19.98 with 1.99 postage. This company is found on the instruction book of the strimmer. They are genuine parts for Challenge products, I have used them for parts before and I have ordered a spare battery. They are reliable. Just select the exact model from the Challenge page of website. They have about 313 in stock as of today.
You CAN but at this current time the price is just under 35 pounds, so better to buy a whole new item and get the guarantee again !

This is suitable for Seasonal and evergreen hedges and shrubs, it is also suitable for conifers and other fast growing shrubs. It is recommended not to force the hedge trimmer to cut oversized branches. These should be cut by hand using secateurs or shears.
