Bought this for my son as he's always been jealous of how comfy my Emma mattress is. Be warned, he finds it's so comfy I struggle to get him out of bed in the morning!!

I bought the cheaper Emma mattress through Argos. The delivery was prompt. The mattress however was no suitable for me due to being too soft with no support around the rim. I am an average sized person generally, not over weight. I think I made the mistake of opting for the cheaper mattress as I think Emma generally have a good reputation. The return of the mattress to Argos took longer than I would have liked but eventually it happened so I cannot complain. Just disappointed in the quality of the mattress... coil springs with two tiny thin layers of foam. I prefer a much firmer mattress to support my back. I was also concerned about how warm it would be with the length of the springs which are covered only with a thin layer of fine tearable cloth. I imagine the cold air would rush through. Breathable but chilly. Can't imagine it would last too long either I am sorry to say.

Absolutely brilliant mattress
I bought the Emma Hybrid Original in a single for my son, as he was really struggling to sleep and would wake up several times during the night. Since getting this mattress, he is now sleeping right through, which has made such a difference to him (and to us!). It’s incredibly comfortable — supportive without feeling too firm, and still soft and cosy. You can really feel the quality. It seems to regulate temperature well too, which helps as he can get warm at night. I’m so impressed with it that I’m now planning to buy the double version for my own bed. Highly recommend!

Good but wish it was firm
The mattress is good and an improvement from my previous old mattress. Not as firm as I hoped but ok. I'm a little confused as my friend has the same original mattress, which is firmer. I purchased this in the sale so I saved some money..

A decent nights sleep
I purchased this item about 4 weeks ago and found it gives support with comfort but firm with no roll together! . Very competitively priced and excellent packing, easy to handle, simply place on base a d release from vacuum packing. Much cooler to sleep on, ensuring a comfortable nights sleep without being to warm.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Emma Hybrid Original Mattress - Small Double: if you are asking whether the mattress will be uncomfortable after being left folded on a sofa bed when not in use, then yes — Emma mattresses are not designed to be folded in any way. Doing so can cause damage and affect the comfort and performance of the mattress.
It is important to note that any damages that occur while the item is being used outside of its intended purpose will void the warranty.

There is a level of off gassing that is required prior to full use. The weight is around 30kgs when in the box rolled.
