I received this two days ago and put it on the bed immediately, very comfortable and pleasant to the touch and seems OK the control switch puzzles me me when I press 'off ' nothing happens, so I leave it on zero and it cools. also the plug on the actual blanket is not well placed I have had to put a pad over it as it is hard plastic. Setting 0 - No Heat
Setting 1 - Low Heat
Setting 2 - Medium Heat
Setting 3 - High Heat
Setting 3 is advised to use only for pre-heating, then switch to a lower setting. For longer periods, setting 1 should be used."

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Silentnight Luxury Hotel Collection Electric Blanket - King.
The electric blanket should go underneath. Then covered by a protector followed by the rest of your bedding.
All Silentnight products are safe to use with an electric blanket however other brands would need to be checked with the manufacturer directly.
