Bought this a month ago. Easy fit as secribed. Works almost immediately, so effective you don’t need it to be switched on for any length of time. Controls very user friendly.

Very pleased with this high quality blanket. Heats quickly and covers the entire mattress. Dual control is also a bonus as each side of the bed is individually controlled. The only drawback is the controls are fiddly and difficult to use.

Nice & comfortable electric blanket
I bought this electric blanket to replace another blanket who's controller had seized. This had a digital controller which was an added bonus, also it has 2 controllers for a couple to set each others temperature preference on that side of the bed. Nice and soft, no prickly hairs like some electric blankets. It is a nice even temperature throughout, keeping me warm and toasty. It also covered the entire mattress which the previous blanket did not !!

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Silentnight Luxury Hotel Collection Electric Blanket - King.
The electric blanket should go underneath. Then covered by a protector followed by the rest of your bedding.
All Silentnight products are safe to use with an electric blanket however other brands would need to be checked with the manufacturer directly.

"If you find the connector block is difficult to position, the electric blanket can be used upside down with the block facing into the mattress or turned towards the feet end providing you do not create a trip hazard or cover the controller."
