Simple enough to build the castle itself is poor but let's be honest we are buying it for the dragon which is worth it

I purchased this Lego set for my Sons Christmas present . He was very pleased with it and was super easy to pick up at my local Argos.

Good model but the dragon is difficult for a child
I bought this as an eighth birthday present for my niece. She was excited about it, and started to build it on her own as soon as she could. She enjoyed building it, and was able to build the castle and people on her own. However, the dragon was too fiddly for her alone, and she needed an adult to help her with it. However, it has been well played with since.

Wonderful set of Lego
What a lovely set of Lego the dragon looks amazing and alongside the castle part it looks great! I got this for my daughter who is 13 and she has really enjoyed making it! The colours made it easy to make the castle and the dragon was fun to make

A little tricky but still lots of fun
This set looks fantastic and encourages imaginative play. However, I would say it’s quite tricky for a 7/8 year old. My daughter has struggle to put this together on her own, even while using the Lego Builder app. We have had many Lego sets and this is one where she has needed much more of my help. Having said that, I still think it is age appropriate and is has been fun to put together.

Cute Lego Set
Daughter able to follow building instructions easily. Proportions of dragon to castle would have visually been better the opposite way around. Castle looks tiny next to large dragon. Usually Lego gives several spare pieces for use after pieces get lost but the castle was missing one gold turret, of which there wasn't a spare (wasn’t the end of the world, as the castle still looked complete.) Dragon has fun jointed body parts and castle has rotating climbing plants. The horse is a sweet addition. As a fan of Maleficent films the overall look of the Lego set seemed slightly too princess and cute rather than genuine look of Maleficent. However, at face value, a lovely set.

My daughter loves this Disney set and will take pride of place on her shelf with all her other Disney pieces was easy to build didn’t take long at all and looks amazing the dragon is much bigger than I expected but then again dragons are big hehe lovely set all around

Bright castle
Lovely bright coloured castle, exciting for any little girl to build, although I did find the dragon quite hard to put together because of very small pieces & being dark in colour hard to see, so an eight year old would probably need help with this part, but other than that a lovely box of lego

Great!
My 6 year old daughter is both a huge Lego and Disney fan and was so excited to build this. She needed some help with the build and we ended up building it together. The final build is pretty impressive with a Castle, 2 doll figures, a horse and a dragon. Since building the set my daughter has been playing with it regularly. The set is great for role playing games and it has been a hit with my daughter's friends too.
