Good
Happy with the product. The large water tank means more time between filling than my last machine. Operates fairly quietly

Fantastic bit of equipment.
Saves energy, saves time, feels high-end. We have had two different types of one-cup kettle over the years, both of which pull water down into a chamber to be heated. This one is different as it heats on-the-fly, so it dispenses hot water as it heats. It works really well, the temperature and quantity controls are digital and seem very accurate. I just hope it lasts for a good few years.

Really pleased
I can’t fault this product and am very pleased with it. If it has any negative it is that the lid is stiff to remove and it does drip slightly when not in use, but the drip tray catches the drips and it isn’t a problem. It doesn’t splash when pouring and I really like how adjustable it is. It’s very quick and quiet. It’s worth the money.

Great kettle
Easy to use quick boil, looks great and has helped my mum to remain independent making her favourite cup of tea
Tray, 35 - 44, Nantwich
Delivers hot or boiling water efficiently.
Delivers a mug full of boiling water for tea more quickly than a 3kW kettle using only 2.6kW of power, which doesn't max out my 3kW solar battery. It has no filter to replace, which is fine if your tap water is of high quality. The tank holds enough water for most of the days tea drinking but is fairly heavy when full and has no handles so is best filled using a jug. The drip tray is just big enough to catch the couple of drips after filling a mug. After use the buttons quickly lock to prevent accidents and you have to hold the power button down for a couple of seconds to unlock it - annoying if you don't have any small people in the house.

Great
This is brilliant as I cannot hold a kettle anymore. The downfall is the lid, sometimes I find it hard to get it off.

The best hot dispenser
This hot water dispenser is great. It is instant hot water and you can measure how much water goes in to your cup especially for me who is visually impaired. 10 out of ten

Hello there,
The supplier has advised the following for the Caso Design HW550 Hot Cup Water Dispenser:
"Similar to a kettle, we recommend using a descaling agent. This would be added to the water tank and run through the appliance."
The user manual confirms this:
"Place device without drip tray. Fill the watertank up to max marking. Add a little bit of vinegar
or descaler.
Place a vessel below the spout which can collect whole content of watertank. Let the device
run at 100°C with volume 000. The device dispenses whole content of watertank and will be
cleaned and descaled.
Pour the water away and rinse the watertank with fresh water after this. Open the drainage
stopper, to remove the water out of the inner pipes.
Fill up the watertank with fresh water and let the device run at 100°C with volume 000.
Repeat this again, so that all descaler residues will be rinsed out."
Thank you for using Q&A.
