About this product
Getting hot water at the perfect temperature used to mean waiting around with a kettle, but the Caso Design HW550 Hot Cup Water Dispenser changes that completely. With precise temperature control and 7 volume options, it's ideal for delicate teas that need cooler water, instant coffee, or anything in between. The powerful heating element delivers hot water rapidly, while the generous tank holds enough for multiple cups, so you're not constantly refilling even when the whole family fancies a brew.
The easy-to-use controls make selecting your temperature and volume simple, and the auto-lock feature prevents accidental dispensing when you're not using it. A removable drip tray catches any splashes and lifts out for quick cleaning, keeping your worktop tidy. The compact design fits neatly on kitchen counters without taking over, though it's sturdy enough to stay put. Backed by a 1-year manufacturer's guarantee, it's a reliable way to get hot water exactly how you want it, whenever you need it.

Customers Say
Stylish, large capacity hot water dispenser with adjustable temperature and volume. Quiet, quick, and energy-saving, but some report drips, slow water flow, and difficulty with buttons or lid.

Good and neat
Great purchased.Makes a great cup of tea using 100 degree setting. Unit is very stylish and is not too imposing on the worktop. Holds a good amount of water.

Great
Love the fact it holds so much water, but I’ve given 4 stars as it would be helpful if the buttons to adjust temp/volume etc lit up? Very happy so far!

PROBLEMS IF DISABLED
I AM DISABLED AND MY PROBLEM IS THAT YOU HAVE TO STAND OVER IT TO SEE WHERE TO PRESS.TAKES AN ABSOLUTE AGE TO RECOGNISE YOUR FINGER AND HAVING TO PRESS 4 DIFFERENT BUTTONS NUMEROUS TIMES CAN BE MORE THAN FRUSTRATING.LIGHTING IS ALSO POOR EASIER TO READ IN A DARKENED ROOM.WONDERING WETHER TO RETURN OR ARE THEY ALL LIKE THIS , DIFFICULT TO SWITCH ON AND OFF?

Doesn’t replace a kettle
Water at max setting is not boiling. Water comes out very slowly. Believe you still need a kettle for cooking purposes. Looks smart. Fine for making drinks.

Good
Happy with the product. The large water tank means more time between filling than my last machine. Operates fairly quietly

Fantastic bit of equipment.
Saves energy, saves time, feels high-end. We have had two different types of one-cup kettle over the years, both of which pull water down into a chamber to be heated. This one is different as it heats on-the-fly, so it dispenses hot water as it heats. It works really well, the temperature and quantity controls are digital and seem very accurate. I just hope it lasts for a good few years.

Hello there,
The supplier has advised the following for the Caso Design HW550 Hot Cup Water Dispenser:
"Similar to a kettle, we recommend using a descaling agent. This would be added to the water tank and run through the appliance."
The user manual confirms this:
"Place device without drip tray. Fill the watertank up to max marking. Add a little bit of vinegar
or descaler.
Place a vessel below the spout which can collect whole content of watertank. Let the device
run at 100°C with volume 000. The device dispenses whole content of watertank and will be
cleaned and descaled.
Pour the water away and rinse the watertank with fresh water after this. Open the drainage
stopper, to remove the water out of the inner pipes.
Fill up the watertank with fresh water and let the device run at 100°C with volume 000.
Repeat this again, so that all descaler residues will be rinsed out."
Thank you for using Q&A.
