Very realistic functions
This is a great set whose functions and movable parts are just like a real mobile crane, enabling it to lift and move things around. The stabilizers prevent the crane from tilting over, and can be folded up when the crane hits the road.

Great fun to build and play with
My lad really enjoyed building this Lego set, and loved playing with it afterwards. That said I think he might have been more amused that there was a toilet included with it. Boys will be boys!

Great Set Overall, Still Room For Improvement.
From my experience of buying, making and operating this Lego Construction Mobile Crane. It has its positives and negatives hence why I have given this one a 4 star rating. The set is not easy nor too difficult to build but it took me two days at a weekend to build. Whilst this is fine for me. There is 1116 parts in the set and some parts are technic parts that is more for the functional features of the crane if anything. Once built and it comes with some minifigures that are colourful and match the set nicely. You can use the two dials to operating the crane arm and the second dial operates the hook winch. However these on my example were a bit tight and I had to move dial slightly back to loosen up the tension. But it is solid and it will not slop or droop about which is what I like about the functionality of the crane. There is two pegs to secure the crane arm into place when in use. You get four legs that extrude out and clip into four plates when the crane is in use and that makes it realistic and a very impressive machine to look at. The portable toilet that comes as a load for the crane to move about is okay but I would have loved it if Lego had supplied a concrete pipe (obviously not the real thing lol) or a structure steel beam as a load to add alternative scenarios to the playtime with this set. That aside, I really love this set but the reason I would only recommend this set for intermediate/experienced builders is due to the higher volume of parts that might be overwhelming for newcomers into Lego builds. If you do like Lego construction vehicles though, this one is a must because it does offer a nice amount of play time and even when not set up. This 10 wheeled monster is a beauty to look at (or at least in my experience). Recommended.

Great Christmas gift from my son
My son bought me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it . It was a nice building experience and looks great on display. I had the 855 technic crane when I was 10 in 1980 this new set made me feel like I did back then very happy 😊

Lego that never fails
What can I say. Lego continues to bring out that inner child. Each piece is very well constructed as we have come to expect from the best brick supplier in the market. Once it all comes together, which took about 45 mins with one adult and one child its fantastic. All actions are smooth and well thought out. Lots of fun

Great fun to build, and great fun to play with!
This is an excellent Lego set for any construction mad child, or adult! Hours of fun. It comes in a fairly big box, and on the box it displays the size of the supplied figures and everything that’s included! It comes with a detailed (nearly 200page) instruction manual, which is really clear and easy to follow (made even easier with coloured pictures so you really can’t go wrong!). If you’ve done Lego before, you’ll know the instructions correspond to a numbered bag. There are stickers included to decorate. The set is really detailed, and there are lots of little components which make this awesome! Things like a portaloo, the legs fold out of the drivers cab, it swings 360, and the cable winch can actually lift some pretty impressive objects- we tried the tv remote and it lifted it with ease! This set provides hours of fun building, but also hours of entertainment playing with after too! It seems quite sturdy and a fair weight, so would be able to withstand being played with after. I built with my 10year old daughter, which she followed the instructions fine, but I wouldn’t say it was suitable for any younger than 9 years as it suggests- unless you have a really patient child with the amount of time it takes to build! With the crane fully extended, it stands at a whopping 68cm tall and 48cm wide! Overall, this is probably one of the best sets I’ve built in a long time!

Mobile Construction Crane
This is a fantastic set, which comes in quite a large box. The instruction manual is very detailed, and easy to follow with a step by step guide. Each bag of lego bricks is labelled with a number that helps you follow the instructions. The set comes with stickers to add along the way. Great role play set that my son loves.

Incredible kit with attention to detail
Incredible kit, my 7yo and I had a lot of fun building this kit, as always with Lego kits the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The mechanisms are strong and the play value for the built kit is impressive, the details within the portable toilet with the little toilet roll made my kids day. The crane can lift up to 3.5kg, my kids really enjoyed testing what it could lift. This kit is well made, it’s realistic, strong and suitable for play, although it’s Lego its a robust toy that can withstand rough play.
