Bought for my granddaughter 's birthday. So glad I choose this. Lots of .she's 4 ,perfect present. Lots of things to play with. First out of the toy box .

Not worth £30
Luckily I got this on half price, it is not worth £30 but I don't buy toys frequently. My niece really enjoyed playing with it. It does involve water so may be best played with in a bathroom but it joins onto the gabby dolls house which wouldn't be set up in a bathroom so it's a bit odd from that perspective. We laid a towel down underneath it over the carpet whilst she played.

Great toy
My 5 year old granddaughter loved this toy. I would’ve given it 5 stars if the instructions had said that the only way to make the mermaid’s tail change colour was to use WARM water, not cold. We had to trawl the Internet to find this out for her - but after that she was happy that it finally worked

Hours of fun
I bought this for Christmas for my 6 year old as she’s gabby mad. She’s finding it so fun having mercat and gabby having fun splashing in the pool. Material is strong and sturdy so don’t have to worry about it breaking. Overall great present purchased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Daughter has recently started watching Gabby’s Dollhouse on tv and absolutely loves it. So this toy is fantastic. It’s great for helping her use her imagination and keeps her entertained for ages. Comes in nice packaging which clearly shows what’s inside. Great quality and goes well with other Gabby playsets.

Nice concept but not a well thought out design.
This was a gift for my daughters birthday. The idea is that gabby and mercat change colour when they dip in the pool. Firstly the pool is so shallow you have to fill it right to the top for the characters to be able to be submerged and secondly it has to be warm water, and with it being such a shallow dish it goes Cold really quickly so there's not 'hours of fun'. One part is also a cardboard disc that sits below the swimming pool which got wet and soggy within ten minutes of the first use. Overall its just very flimsy and plasticky. I felt ripped off paying the sale price so would have felt more so paying full price. Disappointing that most of the reviews seem to be from people who have been gifted the toy.
