Mixed feelings
The bag is good value though wrongly advertised as a 4ft bag. It is RDX'S 5 FT bag - actually 4ft 9 inches According to RDX , the mitts are 4 oz. Some sources say this is adequate for bag work. Others say a 10 to 12 oz mitt is essential.

Not used it yet. The stand is bought separately which will cost me £150. Bag looks and feels sturdy, looks like it can take a hammering. I would say don't unzip the bag as I had a little look and I don't even know what the stuff is they filled bag with strands of something blue in colour I don't know what it is. My bag didn't come with the strap you can place on the bottom of bag to stop it from swinging so maybe the pictures in argos are incorrect its heavy so doubt it will swing, wait and see when I can afford the stand for it

Decent bag for its price, but wrong size
This bag IS NOT a 4 foot bag. It is a 5 foot bag… Add to that a drop of approx 12 inches in the chains, the overall hanging length of this bag is 6 foot. So be careful of this is for a child and your punch bag bracket isn’t mounted high enough on a wall. The quality is good, and I’d argue as good as you’re going to get in this price range. It’s slightly light/soft in my opinion but RDX website says you can add up to approx 40kg more weight, leaving a total weight of approx 60kg.

My response to Paul is that 177cm is not about 4 feet. There are about 30 cm to the foot, so 177cm is 3cm short of 6 feet. Please clarify.

Ive bought the bag and unsuccessfully highlighted this issue twice. It is bang on 5ft in length. Add the chain to that, and its over 6ft in length from the hook to the bottom of the bag. Obviously this is something that needs to be factored in when hanging it. I had to reduce the length of the chain as a result of Argos incorrect description
Im sorry but that is a ridiculous answer from Argos. 177cm is over 5 foot 9, so in no way is that approximately four feet.
The bag obviously comes in two sizes, I want to know which one is being sold here. The big one wont fit in my house.
I suspect 177 or five nine is the length of the five foot bag plus tha chain length. Can I get an actual answer to what product you are selling here, or shall I just waste everyones time by ordering and returning if its the wrong size?

From the information we have available, I can advise you can increase the weight of the RDX F6 Kara 4ft 3-in-1 Punch Bag by adding sand. The bag has a maximum filling capacity of 40-50 kg. This means you can add additional weight, such as sand, to reach this capacity and make the bag heavier for more intense training sessions.
