Customers Say
The Doro phone is praised for its ease of use, large buttons, and suitability for elderly users. However, many reviews express frustration over its 2G connectivity, which is being phased out, rendering it nearly obsolete.

Don't Buy!
I am really annoyed that Argos are still selling these while all UK carriers are stopping 2G coverage. I will be seeking a return. This phone will be a paperweight in a matter of weeks.

Great for my 95 year old mum!
Bought to replace a near identical phone that has developed a battery problem. If all you need is functionality to receive and make phone calls - this is the phone for you

Works well overall but with one important problem
I bought this for my mother-in-law in her 80s as she had a previous Doro phone which did her very well for many years; it was easy to use and very clear for someone with hearing aids and some sight issues. When it died I replaced it with this phone thinking it would work in the same way - it does generally, but with one major issue. If you are just replying to a text it is a simple process, but if you want to send a new message to someone you have to click through many different stages in different parts of the menu/switches (remembering where to go/what to press) in order to do this - this process is hard for me to remember let alone an 86 year old! Why did they change this? At any rate, we are sticking with the phone and she is getting used to it. Otherwise it remains a clear and simple phone.

Easy phone
Bought as a replacement for a more expensive Doro. It's perfect for texts and calls - no need for us to have a smartphone

Not usable product, service was appalling
Purchased this product for elderly relative and it was not usable as only set for 2g. Tried to return it and was accused by a young lad of not reading the details in a very derogatory tone and I should have done so before buying this product and he refused a refund us after insulting my intelligence in front of other customers and staff. I complained to customer service on line who were not much more help in understanding but I was able to return it at the management discretion in store. There was no manager in for two days and had to return several times. The product was not used as could not be as not fit for purpose . There was no security tag on the box and nothing indicated I could not view product. Very poor service. What happened to respect and customer service? It really upset me.
