Just about does the job
Delivery was good. Unfortunately the temperature display does not behave as it should. It only displays the desired temperature, not the actual temperature, so you can't see the progress it's making towards reaching the desired temperature. I had to put a garden thermometer inside it to see what was going on! It also took a really long time to reach the desired temperature. My previous cooler got to the correct temp within an hour or so - this one took a day or 2. It seems to maintain the temp once it's there though, and at the end of the day it does keep the wine cool so I guess it does the job. The door action is not great, I was careful to check the measurements provided, and it fits in the same slot where my previous cooler was, but the hinge action means that the door catches against the adjacent unit, which wasn't the case with my previous cooler. Now wishing I could have replaced my old cooler (which suddenly stopped cooling) with the same one, but they don't seem to make it any more.

Yes you can change the height by adjusting the feet, the minimum height of this is 87.2cm, the maximum height is 89cm (The stated 87cm height is the lowest it can be). It won't fit an 85cm or 86cm gap though.

The Russel Hobbs RHBI7WC1 7 Bottle Wine Cooler can be installed as a freestanding or a built in unit. The appliance must be placed flatly and firmly on a solid base. The appliance is fitted with adjustable feet, which should be used to level the appliance. There is no need to bracket to a wall.
