These ones are definitely better quality and certainly last a lot longer too. So yes, I would recommend these batteries, great quality and a fair price.

Not if the landline phone is one that charges the AAA batteries - usually a pair - in the stand, NO. Trying to charge non-rechargeable batteries is dangerous. It is stated in the instructions. Argos sell AAA rechargeables which are recommended as from an official seller. Dont trust the potential fakes on certain well-known other websites that have marketplaces not simply official stock.
