Drives me mad
We bought this TV to replace an old one in our family room and I was very excited to have digital tv like we have on our other tv’s. The tv itself takes ages to come on and then rather than going straight to the channel you were last watching it comes up with all the apps so you have to scroll down to find live tv before the tv will come on. Also when you are watching tv it will keep going off and a note will come up at the bottom saying that it is making storage for apps. I have added nothing to the tv so no idea why it needs to do this around 4/5 times an evening. On the plus side the screen is very clear.

Excellent value large TV
This TV does the job - excellent picture quality. It's easy to use. Just occasionally the LG App Hub plays up (not in the TV, it's a remote hub) and the home screen layout tries to push LG apps a bit too hard. But it's a very good TV otherwise. Superb for watching sport.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the LG 55 Inch 55UT80006LA Smart 4K UHD HDR LED Freeview TV: ''The refresh rate on this TV is 60 Hz which is standard for an LED/LCD TV. If the customer is looking for a higher refresh/ping rate, they would be better off looking at the NANO or OLED ranges. LED/LCD's are okay for standard games but not FPS.''
