bought this for my granddaughter and we are both delighted with it! offers cuddly comfort with night light she can control - battery operated so no worries about cables. And it has soothing lullabies which she can also activate and stays on for 15 or 30 minutes. it helps her feel comforted and that she can activate the light or music easily when she wakes. We are all very happy with it.

The supplier has advised the following for the Vtech Twinkle Owl Lights:
You cannot switch the timer off the Twinkle Lights Owl so it stays on permanently.
There is no option for continuous playback. The timer options are for either 15 mins or 30 mins.

Slide the Timer Control Switch to select the desired preset time. Once the chosen timer has finished, the unit will enter sleep mode. If baby cry's the owl will exit sleep mode. Choose between the 15 or 30 minute timer.''
