Good wee starter sewing machine
Bought this wee machine as ive embarked on a beginners sewing class. It's ideal for this, however i did have to exchange it as there appeared to be a problem with the spool (screw had come loose). I have another new one, both Brother and Argos gave me a no fuss renewal. So fingers crossed 🤞.

Great sewing machine
Great sewing machine. Ideal size with a number of different stitches available. Sews well & looks as if it will last. Will be perfect for the uses that I have for it ( everyday sewing such as taking up curtains, making cushion covers etc). All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Brother LS14s Manual Stitch Sewing Machine - White: Unfortunately, the LS14s doesn’t have a whip stitch, as this is a hand sewn stitch.
However, a normal zigzag stitch will work for whipping.

You will need a darning plate compatible for this to install above the feed dogs and a free motion darning foot.
