Absolutely changed how I do my thing
Was running with windows 11 for some time and it low-key felt underwhelming. Decided to buy this for uni it’s crazy how this thing feels great. I don’t think I’ve seen a display this crisp before, it’s strange getting used to the controls but it’s easy enough to learn. Not sure if you can play games on it- but if you’re getting a Mac its probably to run creative tools and stuff (which is what I got it for, can’t be running games and working on the same thing) Overall pretty cool- nice product and all

Amazing
I’ve wanted a MacBook for years and finally bit the bullet, this is easily the best laptop I’ve ever used and is well worth the money. It is super fast, and if you’re familiar with apple’s operating software it’s really straightforward to use. Battery life is fantastic, I spent a full day video editing recently and I still had around 20% battery left at the end of the day which is really good. Glad I got this one over the MacBook Air as I think it holds up better for editing etc. Would recommend

Frustratingly incompatible
Discovered to my dismay that many features I would consider basic are not available on MacBooks, can’t download Netflix or Disney (these can only be used in browser which means no offline viewing, WiFi streaming only) Minecraft is not cross compatible for only play, MacBook features no USB-A sockets so I need a converter to plug in mouse etc. granted I could have done more research and learned about these issues before purchasing, but for a £1500 laptop it did not occur to me that such basic features are not available. Additionally there are endless annoying pop ups insisting I sync and update various things, they can be temporarily dismissed only to pop up again later. I know I sound like an old man, but back in the day computers worked for us, not the other way around! Every time I power up this thing it gives me a to-do list of jobs. I’m going to sell this on and try a windows laptop instead, at least they can download Netflix films!
