Julian Bowen Maine Single Bed Frame - Grey

Missing parts but a nice bed.

Bought this bed in the Black Friday event. The bed itself is good quality however I’ve had various issues. First one being the footboard didn’t have the correct fittings for the screws so I had to wait for a new one to be sent out. Then the screws for the head board where stripped so they would secure together so I’ve had to wait for those to be sent out aswell. Overall it’s been quite an annoying & frustrating experience for a very simple bed frame. But it does look nice.

Great looking bed but very fiddly to assemble.

This was bought as a spare bed, and it looks great. However, the assembly was very difficult - even following the supplied instructions. Trying to secure the side beams using the small c-section was extremely fiddly, and tightening it up required great patience!

Disappointing

Whilst this bed looks great from a cosmetic point of view, the way the foot board attaches to the side runners is hopeless. The assembly instructions were poor and the fixing bolt was almost impossible to tighten properly. The engineering of this method of attachment is not strong enough. The first time I accidentally knocked against the foot board, it partially detached from the side runner. I resorted to fitting substantial L brackets top and bottom to both sides to give me peace of mind the foot board would not detach in normal use
