[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this today and all inall I'm pleased with it. I had difficulty adding the ice cream mix to the machine as I am short ,(a footstall remedied this) Also I personally would have preferred the.instructions to be listed rather than spread through the book.. but what I dud like about it was the recipe book which is much appreciated. The machine was quiet in operation. I chilled the ingredients before using and was extremely pleased with the ready tobest result. The ice cream was soft yet holding its shape . I didnt test the sprinkle accessory as we don't have any children living with us now. As I have made ife cream before I used my own recipe and it turned out well . It was easy to dismantle and clean. I'm looking forward to making zirish cream ice cream next

Cuisinart 1.42L Soft Serve Ice Cream Maker
From the details I have locate din the instruction manual it advises:
Preparing the Freezer Bowl
The freezer bowl must be completely frozen before you begin. Before
freezing, wash and dry the bowl. Wrap it in a plastic bag to prevent freezer
burn. The length of time required to freeze in the freezer, depends on the
temperature of your freezer.
In general, freezing time should be a minimum of 24 hours, with a
freezer temperature of -18˚C or cooler. To determine whether the bowl is
completely frozen, shake it. If you do not hear liquid moving, the cooling
liquid is frozen.
We recommend that you place the freezer bowl in the back of your freezer,
where it is coldest. Place the freezer bowl on a flat surface, in its upright
position, for even freezing. For convenience, leave your freezer bowl in the
freezer at all times. It will be ready for immediate use, at any time.
