[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the fact that the store was able to transfer all my apps and history from my old A12. However, the battery life is shorter than the A12 which was about 40 hours even after 4.5 years. Moreover, when taking images of text, the A16 does not show that text clearly, so it's difficult to determine whether it's actually in focus before scrutinising the resultant images. Also, when correcting text especially drafting WhatsApp messages, the text jumps about which is frustrating to say the least. Overall, the A16 IMHO does not live up to the expectation I had after reading reviews before I purchased.

Note: all of the mobile phones we sell at Argos are now no longer locked to one particular network. All off our prepay phones have been unlocked.
Some are still listed on the website as EE or Vodafone (Network provider: EE/Vodafone). The handsets are supplied by EE/Vodafone with an EE/Vodafone SIM card in the box. Customers can choose to use another network however this is how these handsets are bundled and advertised.
