Good so far
I brought this about 2 weeks ago and am really impressed by it. I have changed from SkyQ and am happy with the interface, works well.

Excellent Freesat box.
This freesat box is excellent value for money. Easy to you remote control. Fast and lovely picture. It was £150 cheaper than the one I ordered before which was overpriced rubbish. This is the business at a very good price.

Great Freesat Box
Bought as a replacement for a Humax box. Very easy to set up and lovely to have access to all the On Demand services again.

A great replacement for our old Humax
We are very impressed with our new purchase. The picture and graphics are really good, and the compact size is also a plus. It took us a while to navigate around the system, but that's mainly due to our old brains. All in all a good buy.

Did an audit of my channels on Sky and the ones I watch are on Freesat, also do not pay extra for HD

Ready to view
Wanted a free view box to replace an existing one that could record easily, have HD channels, selection of channels of different genres but the main reason I chose this brand was that it advertised Islam Channel. It doesn’t!…still I’m pleased with the quality of the box, the ease of using it…the remote control could have been better when using as the buttons are stiff to the touch!

It's no Sky Q, but it's decent if pricey
Like many people, we switched to Freesat from Sky Q. Very easy to set up. It will update to the latest firmware when you connect it to your network. It will ask you to create an account, but you cannot as Freesat accounts have been discontinued - the update removes this prompt. Soon enough, you'll be ready to watch. Whilst navigating the UI and menus, you'll notice straight away that it's much less responsive than the slick navigation of Sky Q. This can be annoying at first, but you tend to get used to it. Recording works fine. The recordings aren't organised as nicely as Sky Q but they're easy enough to find. So far, I haven't had any issues with failed or garbled recordings. The built-in apps are the usual suspects like Netflix and YouTube etc. Now TV is the only noticeable omission for me. The remote control is a little odd at first due to its peculiar shape, but I actually like it more than Sky Q's as the buttons seem to be a little more spread out and you're less likely to press the wrong button. My criticism is the price. We got the 2TB model and for the price you'd expect a smoother user experience when navigating the menus. I won't talk about the channel selection as it's pretty well known. Sky Q remains by far the best TV service you can buy, but this will do if you don't mind paying a bit up front. The lack of monthly bills makes up for this. Hope this quick review was helpful
