The Joie i-Irvana ISOFIX R129 Toddler to Booster Car Seat is not compatible with non-ISOFIX cars. It is designed specifically for ISOFIX installations, which are used to secure car seats in the vehicle's seat belt system.

The supplier has advised the following for the Joie i-Irvana ISOFIX Toddler to Booster Car Seat - Shale:
"This model can not be used as a backless booster."
They add this following info:
"Our I-Irvana car seat is installed with the Isofix and top tether for use with the 5-point harness up to 22kg or 105cm (whichever comes first), then as a highback booster, 100cm-150cm/36kg (whichever comes first) with the seatbelt securing the child and seat. The Isofix are optional when used as a highback booster."

Hello there,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Joie I-Irvana Group 1-2-3 R129 i-Size ISOFIX Car Seat-Shale : Our i-Irvana car seat is installed using the Isofix and top tether when used with the harness from 76cm – 105cm. Then the harness stores away for high back booster mode 100cm to 150cm, which is installed by just the vehicle 3 point seat belt or using isofix and the 3 point seat belt together.
