This is an excellent tablet for general light use. It is obviously Amazon 'centric' and Google play store isn't available but for browsing, email, Facebook etc it is fine. Battery life is excellent and speedy is good. Overall for the price it represents very good value.

Perfect replacement for my Kindle Paperwhite
I was looking for a replacement for a weary old Kindle Paperwhite and wanted something with a screen just a smidgen bigger. This fits the bill perfectly, with the added advantage that it also plays my audiobooks. The screen is proving just as readable as the e-ink in my Kindle. Though it probably won't fare as well outdoors in sunshine that doesn't account for enough of my reading to matter. Fantastic little device for the price Only gripe is the ads on the lockscreen, but they don't interfere so this is purely an aesthetic concern for something that's not visible for long in any case
